Explorer Series Volume 3
The third in the explorer series from Arran Distillery is the Kildonan & Pladda island bottle.

The Explorer series exists to show off the Isle of Arrans many wonderful views, this one to the south alongside Vol 1 and 2 from the north and east with what I have heard a bottle next year from the west.

This view is truly spectacular and having seen it in person even the wonderful tin doesn't do it justice.

The whisky itself is a 21 year old expression which was matured in Sherry Butts, puncheons and Ruby port pipes and a limited 1 off run of 9000 bottles worldwide.

This dram is one of Arrans finest that I have had which is nice on the palate and a really smooth long finish.

It is quite exquisite and the beautiful packaging and bottle really set it off, there are even matching tin pictures available from the distillery.
